Most of our days start with breakfast and then some clean-up and a family workout routine that takes about 20 minutes. It’s been a lot of fun. After that, we practice a new phrase in Spanish and English. Stuff like,“I am hungry” or “I need to go to the bathroom” or “put on your shoes” or even “God created all the animals.” Teresa usually draws a picture to represent the phrase. Then we have free time to play soccer, catch or color. After that, it’s lunch and clean-up. Then we walk into the town of Baños. We like to stop at coffee shops and we stopped at one today, called “Honey, Tea and Love.” About every other day we’ll go to the town public park so Kai and Kaleb and Karson can play basketball. I’ve had a lot of fun watching them compete with the locals.
On the way home, we went to Ambrosia, a rooftop restaurant in the middle of Baños, that Karrah really wanted to go to. We had a great time and we were the only family there that night.
